About Me

I’ve been a licensed occupational therapist for over 20 years, with most of my career focused on working with children and their families.

My journey into pelvic floor therapy began out of curiosity—I took my first course and found it to be equal parts intense, exciting, and deeply fulfilling. That first class set the tone for my career as a pelvic floor therapist, a path that continues to challenge and inspire me.

Why I Do This Work

One theme that shows up repeatedly in my work is the quiet struggle so many people endure. I meet women and men living with challenges for which there is help but who feel too much shame or embarrassment to seek it. Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate the power of starting the conversation, normalizing discussions about real issues that profoundly affect so many lives.

My practice is built on the belief that everybody—and every body—is worthy. Healing begins with the simple, but courageous, act of sharing your story. My goal is to help women and men feel whole in their bodies, cultivate deeper self-awareness, seek balance, and honor their bodies at every stage of life.

My Philosophy

My approach to healing and wellness is informed by decades of yoga, meditation, creative movement, and art. I see each patient through a lens of joyful support and education, always with a sprinkle of humor to lighten the journey.

I love my work, and this website is an extension of that passion—a place to answer the many questions I hear every day and provide a resource for those seeking help.

Why This Website Exists

In my conversations with patients and friends, I hear the same concerns time and again: the confusing changes brought on by perimenopause or menopause, the surreal experience of feeling like your body is no longer your own, and the struggle to find real information amidst conflicting advice. Many women express frustration with doctors who dismiss their concerns, confusion about hormones, or fear about changes in sexual interest and pleasure.

I talk about sex—a lot—with my patients. And when I began experiencing some of these changes myself, I realized how daunting it can be to find reliable, research-based information.

That’s why this site exists: to shed light on the many factors that impact intimacy, pleasure, and aging—not just the usual culprits like perimenopause or menopause. My goal is to provide a resource that empowers women (and men) to navigate these changes with knowledge, science, and yes, a little humor.

Aging Sexfully

There are many ways to age, and it doesn’t mean giving up the things you once enjoyed. Aging sexfully is about embracing this stage of life with confidence, curiosity, and joy—whatever that means for you.

So, in answer to the question, “Who am I?”: I am someone who wants to help you feel empowered, emboldened, and informed to age sexfully.
